The UNION

The NATIONAL UNION OF STUDENTS OF THE PHILIPPINES (NUSP) is a nationwide alliance of more than 600 student councils/governments/unions committed to the advancement of the students’ democratic rights and welfare. Since its establishment in 1957, the NUSP has been consistently at the forefront of the students’ struggle for their rights and in solidarity with the Filipino people’s struggle for social justice and meaningful changes in society. As such, the Union has earned the recognition as the national student center in the country. The Union is currently an active member of the International Union of Students (IUS) and the Asia Pacific Youth and Students Association (ASA)
